STORY: Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek celebrated their first Wimbledon titles with a dance during the Champions Dinner in London on Sunday (July 13) night.

Sinner showed he still had some life in his legs after beating Carlos Alcaraz 4-6 6-4 6-4 6-4 earlier in the day to become the first Italian Wimbledon singles champion.

Swiatek shook off her tag as a clay court specialist after she brutally dismantled Amanda Anisimova 6-0 6-0 on Saturday to clinch her sixth Grand Slam.

"Yeah I nearly cried. Not cried, but nearly. But no, I always say, Wimbledon is the tournament. There is a lot of history as we can see and already the walk on, it's very special, and winning there today was truly I believe the most special moment of my life in a tennis court and obviously off the court, the health and everything is much more important but today as my profession, it was amazing."

"Well it does at times but I gotta say I have to get used to this idea. I never even dreamt of winning Wimbledon, as most of you know, I was called clay court specialist for most of the years of my career so winning on grass for sure feels just super special and it's a bit of a surprise for me as well so I'm going to for sure spend the next days enjoying it, celebrating it, and for sure I need some time to soak everything in."
