MINNEAPOLIS (EEUU)

STORY: Footage from Sunday (January 25) showed U.S. security forces throwing smoke bombs at protesters in Minneapolis as thousands filled the city's streets to protest against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents' sweeping enforcement surge.

The buildings, road layout and the hotel entrance seen in the video matched file and satellite imagery of the area. The date when the video was recorded was verified by the metadata on the original video file.

The Trump administration has launched its most ambitious immigration operation to date in Minneapolis, sparking weeks of protests by residents and violent altercations with federal agents, including two fatal shootings that killed Renee Good on January 7, and ICU nurse Alex Pretti over the weekend.
