SHOWS: Two Palestinian gunmen opened fire at a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Monday (September 8), killing six people in what police described as "a terrorist attack," one of the deadliest in the city in the past few years. Footage from the scene showed people running through the street while traffic stood still. Reuters confirmed the location by the road layout, road signs, terrain and buildings which matched file and satellite imagery of the area. The date has been verified by official reports of the incident and Reuters aftermath footage from the scene. Israeli security forces and forensics were examining the site of a shooting attack that killed 6 people at a bus stop on the outskirts of Jerusalem on Monday (September 8), Israel's ambulance service said. The junction where the shooting occurred is located in a part of Jerusalem that Israel captured in the 1967 war and later annexed in a move that the United Nations and most countries do not recognise. 18. (SOUNDBITE)(Hebrew) EYEWITNESS, ELAZAR TOLEDANO, SAYING:
"The station was, of course, full of the hustle and bustle of people. Suddenly, I started hearing a burst of gunfire, at first small, and then it intensified. People were looking at each other, trying to understand what was happening, but no one understood. Only maybe after two or three seconds, someone suddenly shouted 'terror attack!' and people started running."

20. (SOUNDBITE)(Hebrew) EYEWITNESS, ELAZAR TOLEDANO, SAYING:
"While it was happening, I saw people falling or getting hurt while trying to escape. I saw a woman who suddenly fainted, and another woman who was bleeding, things like that. Then later, I returned to the scene and saw two tragic bodies, which really made me suddenly realize that this was a very, very serious event. Thank God I was spared."
21. (SOUNDBITE)(Hebrew) MEDIC, OHEVYA SHARABI, SAYING:
"At around 10:14, Magen David Adom received a report of a terror attack at the Ramot Junction. At the same time, I was here, going down, while there was gunfire. I realized there was an unusual incident. A volunteer from 'Rescue Without Borders' who was right at the scene broke through the wave and reported that it was a terror attack. I arrived at the location quickly, I was the first to arrive, and I provided life-saving medical treatment to the wounded. Unfortunately, there are several fatalities."
