STORY: Arsenal fans lined the streets of London on Sunday (May 31) chanting and lighting up red flares as they celebrated their team's first English Premier League win in 22 years.

The players could be seen on top of the bus, along with the Premier League trophy, which they secured as champions on Tuesday (May 19) following second-placed Manchester City's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

It is Arsenal's first title since 2003-04 when Arsene Wenger's side went through the season unbeaten and their first major trophy since the 2020 FA Cup in manager Mikel Arteta's first season after taking over from Unai Emery.

Arsenal's women's team joined in the celebrations following their FIFA Champions Cup win this season.

Fans in London celebrated despite Arsenal losing the opportunity to clinch their first Champions League title in a penalty shootout loss to French club Paris Saint-Germain the day before.
