STORY: Footage released on Monday (September 22) by Ukrainian authorities showed vehicles and buildings burning while emergency personnel conduct rescue work amid the rubble of a building, after what they said was an attack by Russia in Ukraine's southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia.
The date and the location of the videos could not be independently verified.
The Russian morning attack on Zaporizhzhia killed three people and injured two more, Governor Ivan Fedorov said on Monday. "Monday morning in Zaporizhzhia began with explosions and fires," Fedorov wrote.
He said that Russian forces used at least 10 aerial bombs in the attack on the city of around 700,000 residents.
The attack damaged 15 apartment buildings and 10 private homes as well as non-residential buildings, he said.
