L005-EEUU TRUMP SANCIONES RUSIA
President Donald Trump said on Sunday (September 14) he is willing to impose sanctions on Russia but Europe has to act in a way that is commensurate with the United States.
"Europe is buying oil from Russia. I don't want them to buy oil," Trump told reporters. "And the sanctions ... that they're putting on are not tough enough, and I'm willing to do sanctions, but they're going to have to toughen up their sanctions commensurate with what I'm doing."
Trump also said that he is confident Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vlodymyr Zelenski would take place "relatively soon" but said he would have to attend and "do all the talking" because, he said the two leaders hate each other.

"Well, they're not doing the job. NATO has to get together. Europe has to together and do it. Look, Europe is — they're my friends - but they're buying oil from Russia. So we can't be expected to be the only ones that are, you know, full, full bore. But Europe is buying oil from Russia. I don't want them to buy oil. And the sanctions that are putting on are not tough enough. And I'm willing to do sanctions, but they're going to have to toughen up their sanctions commensurate with what I'm doing."

6. (SOUNDBITE) (English) U.S. PRESIDENT, DONALD TRUMP, SAYING:
"And, you know, I stopped seven wars. I thought this was going to be an easy one for me, but this has turned out to be tough. The hatred between Zelenskiy and Putin is unfathomable. [Reporters asks: “Do you still believe that they will talk?”] I don't know. I think I'm going to have to do all the talking. They hate each other. [Reporters asks: “When do you think that will take place?”] I don't know, relatively soon. We're going to get it worked out one way or the other, but relatively soon. They hate each other so much they can't breathe. So I'm going to have to get involved.”

"There'll be talks, whether you call it a summit or just a get-together. It doesn't matter. But I'll probably have to get — they hate each other so much they almost can't talk. They're incapable of talking to each other. Thank you. Thank you."
