STORY: CCTV released by Saudi Arabia on Sunday (October 11) shows the moment of an attack on Riyadh's international airport that killed 13 people and wounded more than 300 on Saturday.

Three videos show passengers queueing, making their way through a security gate and sitting in a waiting area moments before the blast, after which people can be seen scrambling to find cover.

Reuters verified the location from the CCTV of the boarding gate from the infrastructure and furniture that matched the archive and satellite imagery from terminal 3 at King Khalid International Airport. The location of the CCTV that showed the people seated was not verified. The date the video was filmed was confirmed with the timestamp on the surveillance footage. The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority said the airport operations were suspended after an attack that left many injured on October 10. No old results were found posted online before October 11.

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthis claimed responsibility for the Saturday strike.

The airport has been closed since Saturday's attack, although a long-planned international energy conference went ahead in Riyadh on Sunday as planned.
