Russian and American special services maintain regular contacts even in the most difficult times, Russian President Vladimir Putin told reporters in Bishkek on Thursday (November 27).

The latest meeting took place in Abu Dhabi to discuss exchange of the prisoners of war, said Putin answering a reporter's question.

Russian side was headed by a high ranking official from the Federal Service (FSB), Putin said, adding that a U.S. representative joined the meeting to propose holding talks in Moscow in the near future.
