J056-REINO UNIDO HARRY Y MEGHAN VUELVEN
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said on Thursday (August 20) that security arrangements for Prince Harry and Meghan were a private matter for the couple, adding that he wished them well following reports they plan to move back to Britain.
The couple's security has been a contentious issue for Harry since he lost automatic police protection after stepping down from royal duties in 2020 and subsequently challenged the arrangements in court.
When asked by reporters whether the government was going to pay for the couple's security, Burnham said: "This is a private matter. It's a matter for Harry and for Meghan, and we wish them well in the move that they are making."
