J013-AGUAS INTERNACIONALES LANZAMIENTO MISILES
STORY: The U.S. military released footage on Wednesday (March 4) said to show missiles being fired from the USS Bainbridge warship as part of an operation underway against Iran.
Named Operation Epic Fury by the Pentagon, U.S. President Donald Trump said the strikes would end a security threat to the United States and offer Iranians a chance to topple their rulers.
The U.S. military, fighting alongside Israel, has struck more than 1,000 targets in Iran and killed several senior officials, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
Reuters was not able to independently verify the location and the date when the video was filmed. Reuters was able to confirm the vessel as the USS Bainbridge (DDG-96) via the naval gun turret, upper deck and bridge of the ship, which matched file images. No earlier version of the video found posted online before Wednesday.
