STORY: President Donald Trump said on Wednesday (August 6) the United States had held good talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and said there was a good chance that he would hold a meeting soon with the Russian leader.

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff held talks with Putin earlier on Wednesday, which the Kremlin described as useful and constructive.
