Two cousins in Cali waited anxiously on Wednesday for word on their 89-year-old aunt and their cousin, both believed trapped under rubble when a residential building collapsed on Monday. Colombia will only accept international search and rescue assistance from teams that hold recognized international certification, disaster management officials said on Wednesday. David Tamayo Roldan, director of Colombia's National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD), said the country will only accept assistance from those countries that can guarantee the provision of search and rescue teams recognized by INSARAG—the international body that certifies such teams.
