STORY: U.S. border patrol agents conducted an immigration raid at a Home Depot in Los Angeles' Westlake area on Wednesday morning (August 6) and reportedly detained several individuals, according to local media.

Footage shared by the L.A. Tenants Union showed several people being detained and U.S. border patrol agents boarding a Penske rental truck on the parking lot.

Penske Transportation Solutions said in a post on X that it “strictly prohibits the transportation of people in the cargo area of its vehicles”.

“The company was not made aware that its trucks would be used in today's operation and did not authorize this,” said Penske in its statement.

A statement from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security reportedly dubbed the operation "Trojan Horse", according to local media.
