STORY: At least six people were killed and 25 others swept away on Sunday (15 June) after a bridge collapsed over the Indrayani river in the western Indian city of Pune, broadcaster CNN-News18 said.

An eyewitness said there were a group of tourists on the bridge when it collapsed.

Rescue operations, led by National Disaster Response Force, are currently underway.
