D037-EEUU LOS ANGELES MANI CONTRA TRUMP
STORY: Protesters in Los Angeles on Saturday (August 2) marched to city hall as part of a national "Rage Against the Regime" protest planned for multiple cities.
Organizers billed the protests, organized under the 50501 anti-Trump movement, as a way to harness nationwide resistance to President Trump's policies on immigration, mass deportations, and federal cutbacks.
The group 50501 - which refers to 50 protests, 50 states, 1 movement - has organized several "days of action" since Trump took office under the "Hands Off" and "No Kings" banners. Protests were planned Saturday in some 350 cities across the U.S.
