STORY: A man in his 20s was arrested on Sunday (February 15) after 3 teenagers were stabbed in Osaka’s tourist Minami district around midnight on Sunday, leaving one of them dead.

Japanese broadcaster NTV said the victim who died was a 17-year-old man.

The suspect, who has been identified as 21-year-old Ryoga Iwasaki by local media reports, was arrested on suspicion of murder.

The man was an acquaintance of the teenagers and had been involved in some trouble with them shortly before the incident, NTV reported.
