STORY: A sea of red and white kits and flags could be seen on the streets of North London on Sunday (May 31) as Arsenal held a victory parade after winning the English Premier League for the first time in 22 years.

The players and manager, Mikel Arteta, could be seen on top of the bus, along with the Premier League trophy, which they secured as champions on Tuesday (May 19) following second-placed Manchester City's 1-1 draw at Bournemouth.

It is Arsenal's first title since 2003-04 when Arsene Wenger's side went through the season unbeaten and their first major trophy since the 2020 FA Cup in Arteta's first season after taking over from Unai Emery.

Fans in London celebrated despite Arsenal losing the opportunity to clinch their first Champions League title in a penalty shootout loss to French club Paris Saint-Germain the day before.
