Dozens of Israeli’s demonstrated against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government on Saturday (May 2) night in central Tel Aviv, calling for an end to Israel’s ongoing conflicts reaching beyond its borders.

“We like are addicted to war, bombs, and destruction, and we don't even care about war laws. And it's, that's what's so, I think we, I have very little hope because I don't see any alternative in the opposition and in the voters,” said protester Dan Bradley.

As an ongoing ceasefire hangs in the balance with Iran, hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah continue to rage, despite a separate U.S.-mediated ceasefire, which started on April 16 and has been extended to mid-May.

Israeli strikes have killed more than 2,500 people in Lebanon and displaced more than 1.2 million since the latest round of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah began on March 2, according to Lebanese authorities.
