Flamengo secured their fourth Copa Libertadores title with a 1-0 victory over Palmeiras at the Estadio Monumental, in Lima, marking the seventh consecutive year that a Brazilian club has lifted South America’s most prized club trophy.

The iconic Maracana stadium hosted jubilant Flamengo supporters, who erupted with joy at the final whistle and celebrated their team's achievement as champion. Fans filled the stands, singing during the final moments and cheering as fireworks lit up the night sky.

"It's exciting. I never imagined that I would watch here at Maracana, the Sacred Temple of Football, my beloved team become champion," said Miguel Fiodi, a 43-year-old Flamengo fan. "It's very exciting, very emotional."

In Sao Paulo, where Palmeiras fans gathered to watch the match, the emotions were markedly different. Distraught fans were seen hugging, crying, and sitting silently after the game ended in Flamengo's favor.

"It was a very tight game, both teams were afraid of losing," said Eduardo de Abreu, a Palmeiras fan.

Palmeiras supporters expressed frustration over the decisive moment. "It could have been a corner (kick) for us," said Bruno Salas. "It was either us or them, so 1-0 was normal. But I'm disappointed because we lost."
